Same as the previous I did this on a single page, still trying to catch up a bit.

Where has Roy found himself?
What is that ominous shadow?
Will I make you wait until next week to find out?

Chapter Five - Holi-Daze

Small Version

Okay I've dropped behind a little bit on my posting schedule this chapter (and I really need to catch up) so I decided to try a simpler way of doing the strip this time.
Usually I draw each frame individually on a seperate A4 page and put it all together on the computer. Since it takes me about 30 minutes per frame this way I decided to try doing the entire strip on a single page, which took about an hour or so, but of course there's a quality trade-off since the individual fames are drawn a quarter of the usual size. The quality drop is really noticeable on frames 2 & 7 but it's still better than filler so I may use this technique again in the future when I need to.

On a story note:
After a few jokey strips the story has started moving again.

I went bowling with mates on Saturday night.
This didn't quite happen but I did drop a 14lb ball on the backswing.

This one sees me once more experimenting with different poses and actions, some like the running look okay but the leap into the water looks dreadful.
But overall I'm happy with this one.

Yeah late again.

I'm seriously reconsidering my official update times.

Ah, the promise of seeing half-naked girls will always wipe out any other thought.

The only comment a guy should ever give a girl about her appearance is, "You look great." All other comments are destined for disaster.

For those who are wondering, night swimming = sex. It comes from a story that director Kevin Smith told about his little daughter walking in on him and his wife having sex, for the full story go pick up a copy of the Evening with Kevin Smith Collection (because I can't remember which one it was in) and enjoy the laughter.

The Slow Ride joke comes from a real life incident, one of my mates took 57 attempts to pass Slow Ride on easy (Guitar Hero 3).

randoMonday - 14-07-08

This is the first in a new weekly series randoMonday which is basically whatever random little comic I come up with, sometimes it'll be a strip like today other times just a piece of "art".

A note on today's strip, it was my first disastrous attempt at inking (kind of) and I guarantee I will not be doing it again for a while, I'll stick to my multiple pencil/pacer technique for the time being.
Also I did the thing in about 10 minutes as a quick joke so don't fucking criticize.

Whoa is this one a late one. I was in a bit of a funk thanks to some stuff that I had to deal with, decision made, Ignore those fuckers until I need to deal with them again.

I made this one as unsubtle as possible, enjoy.

Preview Art - The Supateam

Supadude and Supagurl

As part of what I'm calling "Operation Don't Get Sued" I've begun the creation of various comic characters for use in the Sh!t Happens universe.
Since I intend to start publishing the comic soon and comics are a decent presence in the story (two people work in a comic store and another is a comic fan) I feel it is important to create my own Superheroes.

This comic took me so long to think of it's embarrassing.

I had the next few comics planned but I couldn't think of a way to get the other characters to the lakehouse while still being marginally funny.
