Chapter Two - The Night It All Began

Large Version

Small Version

This week's comic is not exactly the comic I was planning to do but due to a whole lot of crap I ended up having to just do a quickie job.

I'll try to get another comic up sometime before next week's to make up for the poor quality.

Chapter One - Not Yet a Story - Valentine Special

Large Version

Small Version

In the spirit of the holiday here's how the Sh!t Happens guys spent the day.

Also for those who don't know, Voomers (or Boomers in the English dub) are sort of robotic zombies from the awesome anime series Bubblegum Crisis/Bubblegum Crisis 2040.

This is the last comic of the very short Chapter One, and the story itself will start with the next comic.

Chapter One - Not Yet a Story

Large Version

Small Version

Well this weeks comic is a little poorly drawn [hey this is the webcomic by someone who CAN'T draw] due to my leads constantly breaking, resulting in ugly gouges in many images that needed to be cleaned up or redrawn.

Additionally this comic is inspired by a real life event (which didn't occur at a casino) and is dedicated to my mates for their constantly inspiring insanity.

Next week's comic will be better, and possibly the last of Chapter One which means the story starts soon.

Random Sketchwork - Mystery Celeb

This is purely the result of boredom and has nothing to do with the comic, I just felt like trying out a sneaky little sketch technique. Then I decided to play around with the limited filters in my crappy editing program (I should get Photoshop someday).

The original scan.

Charcoal filter.

Equalizer filter.

Negative filter.

And just plain "enhanced".

First person to guess who the celebrity is gets a free prize, maybe.

Here it is after literally hours of work (mostly the computer ink and colour) the second strip of Sh!t Happens. I'm thinking of switching to just tracing and scanning my drawings from now on as I'm not to happy with the results of my computer editing considering the time it takes.

Plus I think I lose something in the process. Here's an unedited scan of frame 1 and 3:

Not all that neat but it just feels better.

Okay until next time keep drinking.
